There is no right or wrong time to start using the app.

The best time to start is ASAP. Once you start entering your Income and Expenses regularly, you accounts and tax become a breeze.

If you start in the middle of the year, you can enter the previous dates you earned the Income, or incurred the Expense.

If you start using it at the and of the year, you can choose to either enter your total Income and Expenses for the whole year as a single entry, or enter them on the dates they occurred.

Entering as a single entry will mean you will have no monthly reports/charts to compare against next year, and you won’t know how much tax or NIC you will have to pay until the end of the year!
